Always a pleasure to work with actors who accept payment in the form of string cheese. Actually, Laurel Braitman is one of my favorite people and you should really consider buying her book Animal Madness (now on paperback) . It's a New York Times Bestseller and it's wonderful.
This was terrible to make. Just kidding. It was the most fun ever, even though I had a broken rib and huge laceration on my foot.
These last 30 days we've been working our butts off trying to raise money for The Lexington Club Archival Project and I'm thrilled to announce: Our Kickstarter was successfully funded. We are so incredibly grateful for the support from all of our supporters. This is a project about queer history, loss, a changing San Francisco - but mostly it's about celebrating a culture and community that will continue to thrive and we are honored and humbled to be among the folks documenting it.
A candid from the documentary I'm working on about the Lexington Club. A works-in-progress version is screening at the SFIFF April 30th. Tix avail here: http://goo.gl/rsGZ13
Just back from a retreat in the desert with these guys, Adam and Johanna. It was perfect.
